Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling & Dharohar Project

This EP was recorded last summer, originally last July, but I just recently discovered it and am so glad I did. The album is a completely satisfying foray into folk songs of not just the UK (Mumford & Sons) but also Indian culture and sounds, which is where the Dharohar Project comes in, a local Indian musical group.

The album examines the music of each artist and incorporates new sounds, allowing for an even more rich and diverse sound then Mumford & Sons tend to have. The album is a beautiful collection of 4 songs that should not be dismissed. The EP is a rare find; not one bad song, multi-cultural, and completely entrancing. The only issue you’ll have is wanting more and more songs like these.
