The photos of Lady Gaga for Vogue have been released. They all feature the short bob hairstyle with different settings and romantic clothing (plus a leather jacket). All of the pics can be found at the Prophet Blog or at Vogue.com, along with snippets from the article where she praises her voice, givers her heart on stage, rock music on Born This Way, and most importantly the second single from Born This Way, titles “Judas.” The second single features a “melody [that] sounds like it was written for the Ronettes, but it is set to a sledgehammering dance beat and is about falling in love with backstabbing men of the biblical variety.” Another religious venture since “Born This Way” also discusses “H-I-M”. “Americano” is another track from the album that contains lyrics about immigration and gay marriage over “a big mariachi techno-house record”. The religion and politics scares me a little, it’s not always easy to pull off such topics in pop music that actually becomes popular. Gaga may be marking another first by bringing newspaper headlines onto the Hot 100 so strongly and with such popularity.
